From Coast to City

Mireya’s Chicago adventure kicked off bright and early with a Thursday morning trip to the airport, landing in the Windy City later that afternoon. With a full schedule ahead, she hit the ground running, ready to blend work, travel, and a little city exploration along the way.

Friday morning started with a work-from-home setup, powered by her trusty U Brands tech storage (proof that staying organized matters, even on the road). By the evening, it was time to explore, taking in downtown Chicago and soaking up the energy of the city.

Exploring Chicago, One Icon at a Time

Over the weekend, Mireya made time to experience the city with her sister, including a visit to the Griffin Museum of Science and a walk along the iconic Chicago Riverwalk.

On Sunday, she checked off a major personal highlight: seeing The Sound of Music in Chicago’s famous theater district, her all-time favorite musical.

Back to Business at TOPS HQ

Midweek, it was time for one of the main reasons for the trip, a visit to TOPS HQ for the annual Amazon review. Mireya spent the morning connecting with partners and reviewing performance, noting how exciting it was to see the Smead and U Brands brand panels displayed in the lobby.

It was a meaningful moment that underscored the impact of her work and the partnerships she helps maintain every day.

All In, Wherever She Goes

By Friday morning, it was time to head back to California, closing out a week that blended strategy, collaboration, and exploration. Whether she’s leading key Amazon initiatives or making the most of a new city, Mireya approaches everything with intention, enthusiasm, and drive.

What is your role at U Brands?
I’m the Amazon Account Manager, where I help manage our presence on Amazon and work closely with partners to drive growth and performance.

What was your favorite part of your Chicago trip?
Seeing The Sound of Music in Chicago’s theater district. It’s my favorite musical, so that was definitely a highlight.

How do you stay organized while traveling for work?
Using my U Brands tech storage. I especially love our Tech Pouch. It fits my charging cords, pens, and earbud case all in one small but mighty case.

What’s one thing you love about your job?
I love seeing all of the new products our incredible team dreams up and brings to life.

Favorite U Brands product right now?
Definitely the Tech Pouch. Can’t wait to get one in corduroy!

Who is your favorite person in the office?
I can’t choose! I do love my AM team. They’re always super helpful and they are HILARIOUS.

What’s the most unusual item on your desk right now?
Not necessarily unusual, but definitely ICONIC. I have a small poster of Beyoncé to get me through tougher work days. What would Beyoncé do?

If you had to eat one snack every day for a year, what would it be?
Strawberry Hello Pandas for sure!
